With our recent move in January, 2007 to our expanded space in the old Berkshire-Hathaway mill building located in historic New Bedford, Massachusetts, New England Demolition & Salvage has grown from our opening in 1998 in Wareham, Massachusetts with 10,000 square feet to our current space with over 80,000 square feet of architectural building materials and artifacts. Harry and Jeanine James, owners of the business, bring a history in the construction and salvage business from the west coast to the SouthCoast community of New England. This experience and know how helps us to bring customers some of the best architectural salvage materials in New England.
Good Pricing and a Large Selection -  Our main goal is to provide everyday building materials that are affordable to all of our customers. We do, however, come across those one of a kind, special items to add that individualized touch to a building project as well. The selections are widely varied, and our inventory changes daily.

We also have a growing number of Antique Dealers displayed within our Showroom. We find the Antiques to be complementary to our inventory and that customers enjoy the mixture of antiques within our showroom of Architectural Antiques.

Organized to find things easily – Organized we are, so come in your work clothes and bring your determination. We sell items "as is" and will gladly show you where you can look for an item but finding that "special one" will be up to you.

Our rent-a-prop business is located on our 3rd floor. It is a full production prop rental business with everything from everyday household items to one of a kind items for staging a small or full scale theatrical production.
